I have been drawn to home spaces for as long as I can remember. Antique stores, estate sales, the corners of other people's homes I couldn't stop looking at. There is something about the way a person builds their private world that I find endlessly fascinating. No one can tell you what to do in your own space. It is the one place where you answer only to your own taste. That is rare. That is worth taking seriously.

Most of what I love, I found by hunting. An estate sale in a house that hadn't changed in fifty years. A booth at the back of an antique mall. An auction catalog I kept returning to at midnight. The finding is half of it.

Worth the Hunt began there. Every week, hundreds of estate sales, auctions, and antique shows go up across the country. I look through them and send the few I'd open myself, free, every Thursday.

The Journal is where I write about what I find: the objects that stopped me, the places worth the trip, and how to look for the things that are hard to find. After eighteen years behind a camera, most of the photographs are my own.

The five collections are the worlds I keep returning to, from Victorian bedrooms to Art Deco mantels to 80s black lacquer. Wander them when you want to see where the hunting leads.
